TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
